Amazon Winter Fashion Haul

Spring is in the air! At least, in some parts of the country 😉 We still have a solid month of winter ahead of us in Minnesota, and I won’t be switching out my cozy tops for tank tops any time soon. Over the past few years, I have gathered some amazing winter fashion items on Amazon. I decided to round up my top picks into one post and share an Amazon winter fashion haul! All items ship prime, are under $40, and will keep you cozy while you not-so-patiently wait for spring to arrive!

Amazon Winter Fashion Haul

Off The Shoulder Sweater

This sweater is one that I shared recently, and it was, by a LANDSLIDE, one of the most liked items I have ever shared. It is oversized by nature (I am wearing my normal size large) and comes in so many colors. This taupe color is a fantastic neutral, and goes with just about anything!

Sweater // Jeans // Shoes // Sunglasses

Colorblock Hoodie

Alright, if I had to pick a favorite, this hoodie might just be it. I wear it at least once a week, and love how it is SO cozy but also detailed enough to wear out and not feel lazy. The zip has a cute ring detail at the bottom, and the color blocking is the prettiest color combination. I went up a full size in this one, which I would recommend. Even going up a size it is not ‘oversized’ by any means.

Sweatshirt // Jeans // Boots // Similar Hat

Fuzzy Crew Neck Sweatshirt

I never met a fuzzy top I didn’t like! This crew neck sweater (like all good Amazon finds) comes in a ton of colors, but I loved how fresh this ivory color felt. I sized up to an extra large for a roomier fit. It is soft, but not overly soft like a sherpa. I would consider it almost a mix of sherpa and terry fabric. And bonus, the inside is lined so while it keeps you cozy, it won’t cause you to overheat!

Sweater // Moto Leggings (affordable option here) // Shoes // Wrap Bracelet

Mock Neck Sweater

While it may not look it, this lightweight sweater is actually the lightest, most transitional item on the list. While the fabric is incredibly sock and great quality, it is very thin, making it the perfect sweater to wear on those days where you want to be warm, but the sun is shining and a touch of spring is in the air. I got my true size in this one!

Sweater // Leggings // Shoes // Backpack Diaper Bag // Bracelet

OTK Boots

As a woman who is 6 feet tall, I cannot tell you how high and low I have looked for a good pair of over the knee boots. I have found options that were decent, but I never got that satisfying, way past the knee feel. I read the sizing information on these boots and figured they were worth a shot, and was BLOWN away by how tall they are! They go way past my knee, and don’t have any annoying ties/strings. I will be honest-they slip a tiny bit, but I typically wear these to dress up an outfit anyway versus when I am out and about doing lots of walking. Wearing jeans or leggings with a bit of texture beneath helps as well. I think most tall ladies can relate though and say that overall, for the price and the height, these boots are GOLDEN.

Fuzzy Sweatshirt // Jeans // Boots

Cableknit Sweater

This sweater is one of the softest and most high quality items I have snagged on Amazon. It is actually a one size fits all option, so depending on your size, it may look different on you. If you are petite, you may be able to pull this off as a sweater dress. The fabric is cashmere and it is super soft, and the cableknit stitching is such a pretty detail! So much white and ivory-you guys, I have a might have a problem!

Sweater // Jeans // Duck Boots

Chunky Turtleneck

The look below was one of my absolute favorite holiday looks from this past season. Sequins may not be a top trend when spring rolls around, but this cozy turtleneck comes in tons of colors (both solid and coloblock) that will keep you warm! It has loose arms and definitely runs oversized-I am wearing my normal size large!

Sweater // Similar Leggings // Booties

White Fuzzy Sweater

You guys, this sweater is the softest, most cozy wubby material EVER. This sweater is much more lightweight than it looks, but will still keep you warm because of the material. It runs long, so if you are petite you may want to consider going down a size. I have seen so many other colors I love, but I have a hard time saying no to a good white top!

Sweater // Leggings // Boots // Sunglasses

Cream, Black and White Sweater

How pretty is the color-blocking on this sweater!? If you haven’t figured it out yet, I have a thing for neutrals. The back is a fun pop of color, but it is still perfectly understated. I would recommend sizing up in this one, especially if you have longer arms like I do!

Sweater // Similar Jeans // Studded Booties

Cheetah Print Sweater

Ah you guys, this cheetah print sweater has my heart! It is a tunic length, and I have actually seen some shorter, more petite ladies pull it off as a sweater dress. If you are tall though, I would stick with a pair of leggings. I love white based cheetah print-I love that it is on trend but feels simpler and less in your face than a traditional cheetah print. Go ahead and get your normal size in this one!

Sweater // Leggings // Boots (a shorter OTK option if you are petite!)

Black and Tan Sweater

I have had this sweater since last summer, and I LOVE it. The colors remind me of a pumpkin spice latte every time I look at it. I know, I know, PSL latte season has come and gone, but I still love these colors! The fabric is a tiny bit itchy, but nothing that has kept me from wearing this cutie on repeat. If you are taller, go with your normal size for length. Petite ladies, you may be able to get away with sizing down in this one!

Which look is your favorite? Are you still dressing for winter, or are you one of the lucky ones that lives somewhere warm where spring has already arrived? Either way, I hope some of these options work for you! If you ever try any out let me know or tag me in your stories over on Instagram-I love to see you all wearing items that I shared! 🙂

Weekly Roundup

Happy Friday, friends! I hope you all had the best week. It was our first ‘norma’ week since before the holidays. Immediately after the new year we dealt with multiple rounds of sickness, so it felt so nice to actually work a regular week. Of course, it also felt long, after so many short weeks/works from home days. I am popping in to share a weekly roundup before we get slammed with a snow storm this afternoon. Tis the season in Minnesota, right!?

Amazon Try On

I shared an Amazon try-on over on Instagram this week, and it included some of my favorite pieces ever! I asked what your favorite was, and, literally, 99% of people responded that it was the brown sweater! It is as cute in person as online 🙂 All try ons are saved to my highlights on Instagram, so you can head over to check them out!

Athleisure Look

This cozy look is one of my favorite outfits I have shot this winter. For whatever reason, I tend to not shoot many ‘casual’ looks, but the reality is I am definitely rocking leggings and jogger pants most of the time on the weekend! 🙂 My coatigan is from Chicwish, and i love how it can be totally dressed up or down. All other items are linked below-my white tennis shoes are under $25 and my hat is from amazon and comes in about twenty flavas!

Cozy Hearts

Another day, another Valentine’s Day sweater 😉 I just could not resist this one-the pink hearts are FUZZY and are so soft. The inside is actually lined with the same fuzzy material (I would say it is an ‘eyelash’ material) and it is so darn cozy to wear. It comes in joint sizing, I am wearing a large/extra-large.

The Cutest Running Shoes

No pun intended, but RUN to get these running shoes! They are currently in stock in all sizes except for 11, and ship free! These sold out in 24 hours the last time I saw them in stock, they are definitely a hot ticket item. The sizing is unisex so they run big, so while many shoes often run small on me (I am a ‘big’ 11), these fit me perfectly! Otherwise, go down 1/2 size!

New Skincare

I do not know what is going on this winter, but my skin is more dry than it has EVER been. I will blame it on turning 30 this fall-I had a conversation with a group of ladies last weekend and EVERYONE swore your body KNOWS when you turn 30 and makes sure that you feel old 😉 This cleansing oil can be used to remove makeup, but is also a cleanser for dry/sensitive skin. I have been using it this week in place of my normal facewash to give my skin a break. Trust me, it leaves your skin feeling SO clean, even though it is an oil. I was skeptical, but am sold! Use code MACKENSEY to snag 20% off of your order through January 31st!

Cleanser (take 20% off with code MACKENSEY-goes down to 15% on February 1st!)

Runway Show

A little bit of real life FUN to share below! Last weekend I was able to walk in another runway show for our local wedding expo. I actually did a modeling job for the local brides magazine right after we got married, and have been involved and doing the runway shows ever since. I have even walked in a few with a baby bump, which was entertaining!

I think that this was my FAVORITE dress of the show. During the shows, we wear so many dresses and are taking them off and putting them on so quickly, we rarely actually get a good look at them. When I saw the picture of the back of this dress, I was blown away by how beautiful it is. So darn pretty!

I called this my ‘black swan dress’. Seriously, playing dress up at these shows is one of my favorite things!

I hope you all have the best weekend! They have already ordered an early dismissal for tomorrow in preparation for the snow storm, and Mike’s famous mac n cheese is on the menu for dinner, so I am a happy camper!

100+ Winter Jackets for All Weather

Happy Monday friends! It is the last full ‘normal’ week until the holiday craziness begins, and I cannot believe it. With the holiday season also comes lots of COLD-we are struggling with a fall that super cold very quickly. So, I have been forced to pull out the winter jackets early! Last week I shared over 100 hats, mittens and scarves. Today, I thought I would do something similar and round up some of the best winter jackets. I broke them down by category, so keep reading to see 100+ winter jackets for all weather!

100+ Winter Jackets For All Weather

Puffer Coats

Puffer coats are one of my favorite jackets to wear, especially during the transitional seasons. Many of these won’t hold up to the dead of winter (at least here in Minnesota). But the packable material make these amazing jackets that keep you warm without being bulky.

Moto and Faux Leather Jackets

Moto jackets are a GREAT staple piece. I have lived in the one I have all fall long. They add a touch of edge to any outfit, and there are SO many options out there right now.

Sherpa and Faux Fur

This trend speaks to my heart! I am loving that sherpa and faux fur are EVERYWHERE right now. Sherpa is one of the warmest fabrics-I actually have some sherpa sweaters that are so warm, I have to save them for the coldest of days. These styles will keep you cozy and trendy all at once!

Dressy Coats

Every woman needs a classic dress coat in their closet. Perfect for wearing over a dress on date night, or to the office, while still keeping you warm. Peacoats are one of my favorite jacket styles-they are so cute and there are SO many styles!

Cold Weather Jackets

This one is for all of my Midwestern friends 😉 Sometimes, all that you are concerned about is warmth and making sure you don’t freeze. These jackets will have you covered, and keep you warm even when the polar vortex swings through1

Shell Jackets

Shell jackets are so great for transitional weather, or if you plan to be outside and active. They are lightweight but keep you warm. I have always thought they look so sleek while being sporty, too!

As always, thank you for reading! If there is anything you would like to see more of, let me know!

This buffalo plaid vest is sherpa lined, and is about as comfy as it gets. It is the perfect piece to wear on chilly days and casual holiday get togethers.

This is my ultimate ‘momiform’. Every year I try to grab a new flannel shirt, and the lighter colors on this one are so pretty! Everything shown in the photo below (besides the hat and bag) are currently on sale!

I am not one bit sad that the snow from last weekend is gone, but how fun is my cozy season sweatshirt!? I paired it with a red beanie and took the boys for a sled ride!

Over 100 Hats, Scarves, and Mittens for Winter!

Raise your hand if you live in a cold weather state!? To all of you in the south, 40 degrees in January does not count as cold 😉 Kidding!..kind of. But really, after the past few winters, I am so afraid of what is to come, but I am also SO much more prepared for the weather. I have been stocking up on hats, mittens, and scarves, and rounded up over 100 options for you all! Whether you are looking for something fashionable or function (or both!) I have lots of options below. Keep reading to see over 100 hats, scarves, and mittens for winter!

And if you haven’t yet entered the giveaway that I shared last week, you can do so by scrolling to the bottom of this post!

Over 100 Hats, Mittens, and Scarves for Winter

So many hats, so little time! I cannot stop buying cute beanies. I was sure to include items with different levels of ‘warmth’, so you can rock cute hats no matter where you live!

Ear Warmers

Ear warmers are one of those winter items that never get enough credit! I remember as a child hating getting hat hair, and to a certain extent this is still true! If a hat isn’t a part of my outfit, or if I am not trying to hide dirty hair 😉 I hate messing my style up with a hat! Ear muff and ear warmers are the perfect alternative to keep your ears warm and your hair in tact. I even found one with headphones!

SO MANY SCARVES! I have been incredibly impressed by the selection of scarves this year at my go to retailers. Typically I am not much of a scarf person, but this year the styles are too cute to resist!

If I had to choose between mittens and gloves, I would choose mittens any day. They are so cozy and my goodness, I found some cute styles below!

2019 womens mittens 100 hats mittens scarves gloves and ear warmers

While I prefer mittens, I also know that gloves are so important to have, especially if you live somewhere cold. While I love how cozy mittens are, sometimes you need the functionality of gloves! I included stylish options (perfect to wear with a dress coat), as well as some heavy duty, made for the cold options!

Thank you for reading! And if you saw anything that you liked, be sure to pin one of the images below for later!

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings Styled 15 Ways

Raise your hand if you have jumped on the faux leather legging trend. It took me awhile, but after regretting not getting them during sale season ALL year long, I knew I had to snag them right away this year. I cannot tell you how many times I have worn them already. They can be dressed up, down, and everything in between. I never really understood the hype, but trust me when I saw, these are good. It can be hard to justify in investing in something like leggings, but this is an investment piece you will get so much use out of! To show you just how versatile they are, I am bringing you Spanx faux leather leggings styled 15 ways! No matter what your style is, I am certain there is a look that will register with you 🙂 I would love to know which look is your favorite, so feel free to leave a comment!

Spanx Faux Leather Leggings Styled 15 Ways

This look might be my favorite, because who can say no to a fur vest? I layered it over one of my favorite white sweaters, and added my snakeskin booties for a fun pop!

There are few things I love more than an all black look. This vest is a staple piece that can be worn so many different ways, and my black plush top is so cozy. all black outfits / black quilted vest / black plush top / spanx faux leather leggings / snakeskin booties

I don’t know about you, but I love a good thermal top. The one below is old,  but this one is very similar and SO soft.

Shirt // Leggings // Shoes

Possibly my favorite sweatshirt ever. Who else watches The Office?! I love Jim and Pam, do you guys remember when she said this line? This is probably my most casual look in the list, but I simply threw on this sweatshirt, some duck boots, and a cozy hat. I am ready for winter 😉

neon pink pobody's nerfect sweatshirt / spanx faux leather leggings / pink sperry duck boots / white pom pom hat

Another cozy henley top, but one is never enough. This one has been another top seller, and comes in a ton of colors! The sleeves are nice and long, and it runs true to size with a roomy fit. My black sneakers have cushioned support and are so comfy!

white logn sleeve thermal henley top / spanx faux leather leggings / black dr. scholl's no bad days slip on shoes

Lots of mixing and matching happening with these items. This is the henley from above, paired with the vest shown earlier! I am really trying to create new outfits with what exists in my closet, and love how staple pieces like these can add versatility to your wardrobe!

My opinion on these faux leather leggings is that they can totally work for the office. Throw on a sweater that covers the booty, a fun blazer, and some chic booties, and you have a class (and comfy!) office ready look.

red boyfriend blazer / white v neck soft sweater / spanx faux leather leggings / black studded faux suede booties

From office to couch, how cute are the faux leather leggings paired with this camo shirt!? I would call this a very lightweight sweatshirt, and it is so soft. The length is great, making it perfect for leggings. And these are another color of the slip on sneakers I mentioned above. I may or may not own them in three colors!

camoflauge logn sleeve weatshirt / spanx faux leather leggings / slip on tennis shoes

One of my absolute FAVORITE trends is buffalo plaid. I love how casual it is, and you can wear it so many different ways. I decided to throw on a black and white option for the outfit below, and paired it with a comfy white t-shirt.

This is the same outfit as above, I just moved the shirt and tied it around my waist!

Okay, this is another favorite of mine. This turtleneck poncho is one of my absolute favorite purchases of the season, and I love how stylish this outfit feels. You can also snag it in black and tan! It is a great piece for the holidays, and so perfect for feeling classy and cozy all at once.

Another top selling item of the year, this sweater is where it’s at. I love the oversized fit, and thought the outfit tied together so well with some tan over the knee boots! This look will definitely keep you warm, and has all of the colors of fall.

This cardigan is the other investment piece on the list, but is worth every penny. You can almost always find it on sale at this retailer, and they allow easy pay in 6 installments. I once again threw on my over the knee boots. Such a cozy outfit, perfect four lounge days.

You know I had to throw in a (faux) leather on leather look, right!? I love how edgy a black moto jacket feels against these faux leather leggings. And with a pair of black studded booties!? Probably as cool as this mom of toddlers has felt in awhile 😉

This is the last look, and probably the most simple. I love a good utility shirt, and I love that this one comes in tall and petite. I prefer my shirts to be a bit more of an oversized fit, so I did a large tall in this one. You can grab it in other colors, and it is on sale often!
