Well, I think 2020 takes the cake as the fastest spring ever. Our spring was beautiful (which I am SO thankful for). After a few years of really crummy winters that never seemed to end, I am not sure I would have been able to handle quarantine plus snow π Today is the first day of June (what!?) so I am rounding up the May to sellers below. Some of the items include hot restocks that were much anticipated, plus some new items for the home!Β
This guy restocked, and SO many of you snagged it! Sadly, I believe it is sold out again, but my advice for snagging it is to check first thing in the morning (as in, the second you wake up!) That is almost always when restocks are done. It is very oversized, I have a large and love how it fits, but I would be totally comfortable in a medium too.
I honestly didn’t think we would see this swimsuit again, but it was restocked in all sizes and so many of you snagged it! I know some of you were WAITING on this one, so I was so excited to see you all get your hands on it. Plenty of sizes are still in stock for now, including long lengths!
I have had these chairs for a few years, and I have no idea why I never shared them until recently. You get 2 of them for just $99, and we love them. They come with a cup/snack holder, adjustable pillow, and a variety of colors. They also collapse so take up very little storage space.
I shared these energy bars for the first time this month, and am hooked! They are a ‘coffee’ energy bar, and definitely have a coffee taste. Perfect for me since coffee runs through my veins π but I always like to be sure to share in case the coffee flavor isn’t your thing. You can snag a FREE sample pack to try them for yourself, too! You do have to cover the $0.95 shipping, but then get to try out four flavors shipped right to your door! My fav is the coconut chai-YUM.
Another item I have had for ages and just recently shared. You all LOVE these joggers! I have them in four colors, they are SO soft and come in long lengths. By a landslide, the comfiest joggers I have worn.Β
I have been sharing more home and furniture lately, and I have loved seeing which pieces you all like best. The conversation set below was a favorite for sure. Such a good price and so sleek. You can’t beat the price, either!
Another favorite, this chair is a dead ringer for the pricier Target option and about 2/3 of the price. It has rave reviews, and looks so perfect in any space. It goes in and out of stock often, but you can sign up for restock alerts if you catch it on an out of stock day!
Another swimsuit, and I cannot decide if I like this black one or the cheetah print one more. I never thought I would find one piece swimsuits I felt ‘sexy’ in, but the one below is GOOD. Comes in long lengths, and has just enough cutouts to make it feel like more than your typical mom suit π
The award for cutest summer sweatshirt just might have to go to this one. I love how summery the colors are, and it is SO cozy. I sized up to an extra large for a more oversized fit.Β
This curling iron was a bit of an impulse buy, but after my large barrel iron died last year, I never replaced it. My hair was short which a small barrel is better for, but now that my hair is finally getting longer, the large barrel is what I love. And this one is only $15! It is ceramic coated, doesn’t catch your hair, and is fantastic for the price. I have never been one to splurge on hair tools-this is the same style as the one I had that died, and that one lasted me YEARS. And HELLO how pretty is the rose gold and white combo!
Again, happy JUNE! I hope you all have the best summer, and have some fun things on the agenda even if it wasn’t what you had hoped. Things are nowhere near back to normal, but we are starting to get little glimpses, and I am so thankful for that!
Hello friends! It has been a hot minute since I wrote a new blog post. Since the world basically got put on pause last month, the thing that has taken the backseat the most has been this blog. I have kept up the rest of my social media work, but blogging ultimately takes the most time and planning. While we have lots of time at home, I am still working full time, managing my blog, and now also ensuring my son completes school every day. Add to that spring and the start of weekends being consumed byΒ yardwork,Β and I have never felt so busy.
I did share an Amazon find earlier this week, and you all LOVED the items. I always like to try and put popular items here on the blog, so it is an easy place to come find them later π I have also been sending out my weekly newsletter, be sure to subscribe here so you never miss my weekly recaps and the best weekend sales!
Spring Finds at Amazon
If you haven’t jumped on the tie dye trend..what are you doing with your life π I am a child of the 90s, and nothing makes my heart happier than wearing clothing that my 8 year old tween self would also wear! You all went NUTS over this pajama set. I sized up to an extra large, which I would suggest doing. You can adjust the strap length, and the hem of the top and shorts has the cutest ruffle detail!
My slippers are only $20 and are so darn cozy. They have rubber bottoms so you can wear them when you run out to grab them mail! And the inside is a memory foam type material, making them super comfy for wearing all day long around the house.
If there was a dress that has me thinking spring, this is it! First things first-this dress does run on the shorter end. If you are looking for a floor length maxi, this will work if you are petite, as in 5’4 or less. However, one of my favorite ways toΒ fake it til you make it with maxi dresses that are a little bit short is to front knot the hem. This creates a bit more dimension, and it looks like the dress was meant to be worn that way!
I threw my favorite jean jacket on over the top of this dress, and it becomes the perfect summer outfit for work. When I was pregnant, I wore dresses with jackets on repeat. So darn comfy, and cute!
I know very few of us are going into the office right now, and I think it is crazy how much we are all craving wearing some business clothing! These paper bag pants are SO stretchy and soft, and feel like pajamas. I asked you all what your favorite look from the haul was, and this one was the winner by a landslide! I have a large top and large in the bottoms, as well! This outfit is the perfect mix of chic and comfy!
Did you all know that Lincoln is our Cinco De Mayo baby!? We have never done much to celebrate the holiday before, but you better believe that now every year Cinco De Mayo is a big deal in our house for a different reason π I needed this tee the second I saw it! It runs loose, so a large fit me perfect. It looks gray online, but it is a true white, and it comes in black as well! I paired it with my favorite jean skirt (it comes in long lengths!) and the best black sneakers.
I have shared this hoodie so many times, and I just snagged it in red, too! I size up to an extra large, as it does run a bit small. but oh my gosh, it has the CUTEST details and is one of my most worn Amazon finds. It comes in solids as well as other color block options!
Which look is your fav!? Do you go casual, or have you still been getting ready every day during quarantine? I hope you all are holding up as good as can be expected. I am sending hugs and prayers to you all!
It may not feel like it outside (thanks Minnesota), but spring is just around the corner. About this time every year, I get the itch to totally switch out my wardrobe for all of the bright, vibrant colors. Of course, for so many of us, there is still a solid two to three months of cold weather ahead. So, I was SO excited to see all of the neon and tie dye styles at Target! While there are plenty of spring styles hitting the shelves, there are also so many bright and cheerful outfits that totally work for winter, too. Keep reading for my top picks, and if you are lucky enough to live (or are heading somewhere) warm, keep scrolling to see my top swimsuit picks!
Neon and Tie Dye Spring Styles
Look One
This first look is SO cozy. I love that the tie dye pattern is pastel, so while it still has that fun 90s vibe, it is a bit more subtle. Compared to the other sweatsuits currently in stores, this one is by far the softest, almost plush. I sized up to an extra large in the top and am wearing a large in the bottoms. Tall ladies-these pants will totally work for you!
I love how versatile these pieces are. I styled the sweatshirt below (and removed my lighting filter) to give you a better look at the true colors. Swap out the sweats for jeans and it is the perfect weekend top for running errands.
I cannot tell you how much I love this neon green sweater. It is neon and pastel, all in one. The sleeves are a subtle balloon sleeve, which gives it a little something extra (as if it needed something extra!) It runs true to size, I am wearing a large!
I shared a similar version of this top in this post, and I love that they made a tie dye version! If you look in the mirror below you can see that it is longer in back. The front can be worn knotted or not, and is perfect for wearing with jeans or leggings.
This is tie dye set number two! Of the two, this one is more popular and you have very likely seen it floating around already. This is more of a true sweatshirt material, and is not quite as soft as the other one. I went with the same sizing, and have an extra large top and large bottoms. I love the pink and blue shades.
Similar to the first one, I styled it with jeans as well to show how it totally works as a set or as individual pieces. I honestly cannot decide which set I love more!
This jacket has my heart, you guys! Neon pink is one of my all time favorite colors. The color, the sherpa material, and the button details make this coat so fun and unique. It does run a bit short, so I am wearing my true size large. I often size up in jackets, but I would stick with your true size on this one to avoid it getting boxy.
If neon and tie dye aren’t your thing (and you live somewhere chilly like me!) there are still so many cute options out there. Once we move beyond the holidays, I am always SO ready to say goodbye to red, green, and super warm colors. All of the styles below are nice and neutral, and still give a spring vibe while keeping you cozy and warm!
Look Six
This white sweatshirt is a french terry material, so it is SO soft. I sized up to an extra large-if you haven’t noticed, I almost always size up in sweatshirts! Some things I like to fit, but there is nothing worse (in my opinion) than a sweatshirt that isn’t roomy. This one comes in quite a few colors, but I love how crisp the white feels!
This gray henley top is SO soft you guys. It is a plush material by design, and comes in a few other colors. I was so excited when I tried this on to find that the length is fantastic-the sleeves are plenty long, and I have LONG arms! Wearing my true size large.
I saw this sweater online and couldn’t wait to try it out in stores. There is nothing better than a cozy ivory sweater, and the sleeve details on this one are so pretty. It is an average length that hits at the waist, so this one is best worn with jeans. I am wearing a size large!
If you want to feel like you are cuddled up in a cloud, do yourself a favor and grab the sherpa pullover below. It is from the lounge department, and is beyond soft. The mock neck is a fun detail, and I love the soft gray color. It comes in white as well! Wearing a size large.
Every year Target actually kills the swimsuit game. There are SO many neon and tie dye options right now, I am having a hard time deciding which pieces to invest in this year! A few of my favorites from last year were brought back again this year, and I am sharing them below. You know these photos on the dock weren’t taken recently here in Minnesota π Oh man, do they have me dreaming of lake days! They are also a good reminder for me to start sticking to my diet a bit more..it may not feel like it, but swimsuit season will be here before we know it!
I was SO excited to see this pink swimsuit restocked! I bought it last summer and wore it constantly at the lake. The bottoms are a full coverage hipster fit. It is one of those suits that you feel so good wearing-I always felt comfortable, covered, and just GOOD in it. The back ties and the length of the straps are fully adjustable! I have a large top and extra large bottoms, but I would have been just fine with large bottoms, the xl is loose on me!
The suit below is another one that I wore all summer long last year. Seriously, these pictures are making me CRAVE a lake day (only five or so months to go!) I love the vertical pastel stripes and scoop neck top. The bottoms are a bikini bottom but they are full coverage. I have a large top and extra large bottoms (I almost always size up in my swim bottoms at Target).
The rest of the suits are ones that I have not yet tried on (my winter body isn’t quite ready π ) But I wanted to show you a true view in stores. I feel like a lot of these look fairly different in person than the online photos depict. These photos are not edited at all, so the colors you see are true!
Swimsuit 3
I love the high bottoms and zippers on this neon suit! So fun and on trend, and I love that it provides coverage!
This cheetah print suit was a top seller last summer, and our store already had limited quantities available. The bottoms are a high rise, and the top is a scoop neck. If you have had your eye on this suit, I have a feeling it will sell out again. Snag it sooner rather than later!
This suit does not look nearly as ‘neon’ online as it does in stores, but it is a true neon yellow against royal blue. The bottoms are high rise, and the top is a scoop neck. It also has a subtle ribbed material.
If you love pink, this suit is another great option. It is a ribbed material, and I would call it more of a Barbie pink versus neon. The cutout detail is fun, too!
I think the suit below may be one that I need to snag! It has ribbed material, hipster bottoms (Similar to the pink one I am wearing above) and is the prettiest bright coral color.
Are you still with me? If you are, congrats! π The suit below is a style I shared last year in a different color, but this color shade is so pretty. The bow detail on front is so pretty, and this would look so good against sunkissed skin!
