Holiday Looks from Red Dress Boutique

I am in total disbelief that Christmas is only TWO weeks away. The time just flies by faster and faster every year. This year is all about sparkles and sequins, and I am not one bit sad about it. You can see my total roundup of sequin looks for the holidays here, but I have a few new looks to share with you today. These are both from The Red Dress Boutique. I have worked with a number of boutiques of the years. Red Dress consistently has the best styles, quality, and pricing of everyone! A quick warning-these items sell out FAST and they carry limited quantities, so be sure to snag any items you love quickly!

Silver Sparkle

Sadly, this look is one that sold out in a New York Minute. I actually think it was sold out before I received it in the mail! BUT, they have a ton of similar styles that would give you that exact same look and feel! If you love this exact number, you can always sign up to be notified when there is a restock via e-mail!

Comfy Casual

This look is the perfect dressed up but dressed down ensemble! I cannot tell you how cozy this sweater dress is-the fabric is soft and stretchy, and it is so roomy! It works without leggings or tights on my tall frame, but for the office you could always add a cute pair of white tights to be a bit more modest!

Champagne Shimmer

This look is my FAVORITE of the season! I wear a lot of different outfits, but this was one that I put on and just felt like a million bucks. The skirt has an elastic waistband and is SO stretchy. Very forgiving and comfortable, perfect for a holiday party where you plan to indulge 🙂 I love this cropped sweater but have struggled a bit to find items that work well with it. But let me tell you-this sweater was MADE for a high waisted skirt!

If you want more sequin inspired looks, I have a ton of gorgeous options below. All of these holiday looks are from Red Dress Boutique! As always, thank you so much for reading and taking the time to stop over to my blog!

Over On Instagram

Below you can find all of the outfits that I shared over on Instagram this week! Lots of beanies and cozy sweaters. Winter is here, and so is my cozy wardrobe 😉

My colorblock sweater and black hat are both from my latest Red Dress Boutique try on! I love how these colors are a change of pace from the typical fall shades.

My beanie shown below is currently 40% off (use code CHILL) PLUS an extra 10% taken off at checkout!

This buffalo plaid vest is sherpa lined, and is about as comfy as it gets. It is the perfect piece to wear on chilly days and casual holiday get togethers.

This is my ultimate ‘momiform’. Every year I try to grab a new flannel shirt, and the lighter colors on this one are so pretty! Everything shown in the photo below (besides the hat and bag) are currently on sale!

I am not one bit sad that the snow from last weekend is gone, but how fun is my cozy season sweatshirt!? I paired it with a red beanie and took the boys for a sled ride!

Red Dress Try-On

I shared some fun new styles from Red Dress Boutique. They are all cozy and the perfect items as we enter winter!

As always thank you for reading. Next week I will be sharing a few more giveaways. I also have some fun holiday fashion posts planned, so be sure to check back!

Weekly Roundup

Happy Friday friends, and so long summer! I am in disbelief that it is Labor Day weekend, yet I also feel like it has been summer forever. Ask me again when we are in an endless winter if I feel like summer was really that long 😉 I am excited for this weekend because not only is it a long one, but my sister in law is getting married! I am so excited to hang out with family and get dressed up. And I may or may not be looking forward to an ice cold beer. Before I sign off for the weekend, I am sharing a weekly roundup below!

Fall Vibes

I have been soaking up these cooler mornings, and am so excited to start transitioning my wardrobe. Summer fashion is so fun, but especially when you work outside of the home, it gets limiting. I can only wear the same camisoles and blouses so much before they get boring. Vests and sweaters have been added to the rotation, and I am loving it!

All About That Ombre

I have had this top for a few weeks, and I kid you not, I wear it as soon as it is washed. It fits oversized, and is SO darn comfy. Size large is already sold out, but you can totally get away with sizing down in this one. The material is a soft waffle knit, and has the cutest ombre styling.

Open House

We had Jackson’s kindergarten open house this week, and it went so well! Mike and I are a ball of nerves gearing up for the big change next week, but Jackson just seems excited! His teacher is so sweet, and it settles my nerves quite a bit knowing his uncle Jeff is a teacher in the same school! After seeing his classroom, we got to go to the cafeteria and get a cookie and milk. He has a passcode to punch when he gets lunch every day that he has been practicing with Mike all week. He was so proud to type it in, and already has it memorized. Lincoln was just excited for the cookie. Now we just need to master how to open a milk carton!

Recent Amazon Finds

I shared a roundup of recent Amazon Finds over on my Instagram this week! Recently I started uploading more information to my Amazon Store, so if you ever have seen something I have shared from Amazon, it is all located in one place! You can find wish lists and categories broken down my item type, and will be updating it regularly! Go take a look and let me know what you think or if there is anything you would like to see more of! In regards to my haul, it was pretty much all fall sweaters! Our weather has cooled off so much, I couldn’t resist! See all of my picks below!

This white sweater is SO comfy and naturally falls off of the shoulder. It is adorable and lightweight, perfect for the transitional weather!

Sweater // Jeans // Shoes

This isn’t my first rodeo with this dress. Fits like a glove, and flattering on everyone. Truly, a closet must have!

Dress // Cuff // Shoes

I call this sweater the pumpkin spice latte! Seriously, it is the most perfect fall sweater. It fits oversized, and is super cozy.

Sweater // Jeans // Shoes

I have also shared this cardigan before, but it was worth a reshare. It comes in another version where the yellow is replaced with tan, and is so cute!

Cardigan // Twist Front Top // Jeans // Shoes

Another great basic piece is this striped cardigan. It goes with EVERYTHING and fits so well. The fabric is thick and the sleeves are a great length.

Cardigan // Twist Front Top // Jeans // Shoes

I am so glad I finally took the plunge on a cute felt hat. This tan color goes well with just about everything and just feels like fall!

Another great basic piece is this twist front top. It is great layered or on its own, and is the perfect length for wearing with leggings.

The Best Faux Leather Moto Jackets

Did you catch my post earlier this week? I rounded up the best faux leather moto jackets, at a variety of price points. I even found some options that come in petite and tall. There is something for everyone and they are all so cute! Head here to see the full post!

New Finds with Red Dress Boutique

I shared another roundup of items earlier this week from Red Dress Boutique. This has been one of my favorite retailers for YEARS, well before my blogging days, and it was so much fun to team up with them to share some of their new fall items.

I am absolutely obsessed with this dress! The color is so unique, and pairs perfectly with a pop of pink! It runs a big short, so tall girls be warned. You can also snag it in a ton of other colors!

Dress // Bag // Sandals

This thermal top may be my favorite item ever. It is beyond soft, fits like a dream, and is so incredibly versatile. I have already worn it multiple times this week!

Thermal Top // Black Distressed Jeans

I absolutely ADORE this striped sweater. Something about it kind of reminds me of the sweaters our parents wore back in the 80s/early 90s! The photos online do not show how soft the fabric is, but trust me when I say it could not be any comfier. I paired it with these black jeans, and immediately felt like fall!

As always, thank you for reading my weekly roundup! Be sure to check back next week for some wedding photos and more fall fashion! And check out the sales happening this weekend below-so many goodies for Labor Day!

Tie Front Top and Tall Grass

Slowly but surely, we have been getting our yard up to speed. Trust me when I say that moving into a yard that hasn’t been landscaped is stressful. When that yard happens to be nearly 5 acres, your head starts to spin! But we are approaching a point where we finally feel like we have a decent YARD, so that next year we can really get to some landscaping. In the meantime, I love sneaking out for photos by our tall wild grass. It is not easy on the feet, but it sure is pretty! And now enough about grass and yard work, onto this tie front top!

I am such a sucker for tie tie front top trend that is going around. They are seriously SO flattering, and comfortable. Since there is a tie that also allows it to be loose in other areas, a tie front top makes you look fabulous while hiding any imperfections (or post taco belly bulges). And these high waisted jeans are the icing on the cake; they cover your belly and hold everything in while also being SO comfortable. This option is another favorite of mine;

Top (similar, similar) // Bralette // Jeans // Bag (old, similar here) // Watch // Sunglasses

What is your favorite summer trend this year? I love seeing styles come back in that were around when we were kids! Of course, some of them (I am talking about YOU platform shoes) can stay in the 90s where we left them 😉
