I decided to take a brief break from holiday content today. No worries, it will be back in full force next week-I cannot believe it is almost Thanksgiving! But, today I just had to share some Walmart finds! Has anyone been completely blown away lately by how much Walmart has stepped up their fashion game!? They have SO many cute items, and they quality is better than anything I remember seeing there even a few years ago. You can find so many pieces that are designer inspired, and 100% up to date on the latest trends. Keep reading to see the latest Women’s fall fashion finds at Walmart, and let me know your favorites!
Whew, what a week! A week after fall break is always an adjustment, and our little homebody family had an atypical week to boot! On Wednesday, we had a Halloween party at my office, where the boys got to wear their costumes, go on a scavenger hunt, and have pizza. They had SO much fun, and I love seeing them so excited to learn more about where I spend my days. Then, last night I went down to the Twin Cities to celebrate Evereve’s 15th birthday! Their entire website is 10% off through the weekend to celebrate. I had so much fun getting to FINALLY meet some other Minnesota bloggers. I live outside of the city, so I don’t get to as many events as I would like. But it is so much fun to meet these ladies in person!
To cap off the week, we have a halloween party for our neighborhood tonight! The boys love wearing their costumes, and we have a young neighborhood. I am looking forward to meeting some of the new families and indulging in an adult beverage 🙂 Before we head into the weekly, my weekly roundup is below!
The Cutest Photobomber
Did you catch the cute little photobomber on my Instagram the other day? I am NOT a cat person, but this little guy came walking up as I took some photos, and was so darn sweet. I had to run away to get inside because the second he left my legs, he immediately came right back to me. Mike, you sure you don’t want a cat? 🙂 My top was just restocked on Amazon, and my jeans are at an unheard of sale price of just $47 this week! These have been around for a few years and I have NEVER seen them marked so low. If you have ever had your eye on these jeans, this is the sale to snag them!
This skirt is one of my favorite items from the summer, and I just wasn’t ready to put it away just because the temps have already dropped here in Minnesota. I think it is so easy to dismiss skirts when it gets cold, but they can still be styled and worn! I wore mine over a pair of black tights (I live and swear by these), a white sweater, and a moto jacket. It instantly feels edgy and fun, and I was so darn warm and cozy. I styled it for the summer in this post if you want to see how versatile it is, and love that I can use it year round!
New Fall and Holiday Coffee Flavors
I shared this post featuring the new holiday flavors and blends I have been brewing this season. But so many of you asked about this sweater that I figured it was worth a reshare! It is soft, cozy, and is the definition of fall in sweater form 🙂 The slits are high, so you will need a cami with this one. It also comes olive green and black!
I hope you all have the best weekend. Still in denial over the fact that Halloween is NEXT WEEK and my favorite month of the year is just about over. I am holding onto every last fall day that I can!

American Eagle: BOGO 50% off jeans and jeggings, plus 25% off when you buy an online only style with code ONLINENEW
We made it to the halfway mark of the week, yay! This one is so crazy-we spent the first half of the week with temps pushing 70, and are expecting the S WORD this weekend. I’m not crying, you’re crying. I am NOT ready, but we have the snow plow ready and I pulled out my duck boots, so while I may be unhappy, I am at least accepting it 😉 I ma a few days late, but I rounded up the September top sellers below for you all. Some new ones made the list, but some are tried and true favorites!
This top continues to be a hot item. The photo below is the only one I have shared, and it continues to sell like hot cakes! I will try to style it a few different ways coming up here since so many of you have snagged it. Did you see it comes in an adorable colorblock style, too!?
Another Amazon find, and I am not one bit surprised this one is high on the list. I absolutely love the colors of this sweater, and it is nice and roomy. It would be perfect with leggings and boots! I call it the pumpkin spice latte sweater, the colors just get me with all the fall feels!
I was so excited to see you all taking advantage of this top during the Sunday Sale. Right now, every Sunday these tops are 50% off, and there are SO many color options. I would describe the fabric as a stretchy cotton-very lightweight and comfy!
Amazon again! It is no secret that not all Amazon fashion is created equal, and some quality is better than others. I think that this cardigan is one of the best quality items I have snagged. The sleeves are nice and long, it has the perfect amount of stretch, and it has a nice ribbed material. A definite must have, and so versatile!
I have been so happy to see you all snagging this bag. I was just talking to my sister who has an authentic LV bag, and she agreed that if you placed this designer inspired bag next to an original, without close inspection you cannot tell the difference. I NEVER promote knock-offs, but this bag has its own branding and no ‘logo stealing’. I like to throw that out there to clear the air, as not encouraging knock-offs is something I am pretty passionate about 🙂 But back to the point-this bag is a great quality, fantastic price point, and goes with everything! Bag // Poncho // Jeans // Snakeskin Booties
I feel a little bit bad sharing this sweatshirt because it is sold out, but if any of you are diligent in stalking a website for restocks, here is the link! 😉 It is still available in some solid colors, and I will keep my eyes peeled for any animal print restocks. I did find a windbreaker that has a similar style, and it is 60% off!
This sweater is one of my favorite finds this season. I also own it in the oatmeal color, and love that it comes in regular, tall, and petite sizing. I like this style oversized, so I went with a large tall. It comes in tons of colors, all are perfect for fall and winter!
Well, I officially pulled the trigger on my third pair of Dr. Scholl’s shoes this week, so I am glad to see you all liking these as well! I love that they have cushioning and support. Slip on sneakers are so popular right now, but in my opinion, a lot of them have poor arch support and aren’t good for wearing long term. These shoes are great for walking all day long, and look so cute! I saw the toasted coconut color that I just grabbed is actually an additional $10 off right now, making them less than $30!
You all loved loved these jeans! I am a sucker for good distressing, and it can so easily be overdone. These have the perfect amount, and a great deal of stretch. And just an FYI, my henley sweater is currently 40% off and comes in lots of colors 🙂
I was SO excited to see this cardigan on QVC for a steal of a deal last month. It is normally $130, and when I snagged it with a promo code it was only $69! It is not currently marked that low, but you can still take $10 with code TAKE10 and get it for a fraction of the regular price! I am wearing the green color, but it comes in tons of pretty options! It is hard to explain the fabric, but there is truly nothing else like it!
Were any of the September top sellers on your list!? I always have so much fun looking back to see the items that resonate most with you all. If you missed it, you can find the August top sellers here, and the July top sellers here!
I am in total disbelief that we woke up in October today! I swear this time of year flies by faster and faster, so I am trying so hard to soak up every beautiful day! Bring on all of the apple cider, pumpkin patches, and cozy sweaters! On that note, I have been so blown away by all of the fall fashion finds at Target his season. SO many cute items, many that are designer inspired. I have two separate try-ons rounded up below, with my top picks and must haves for this season!
Fall Fashion Finds at Target
This animal sweater is so cozy! I know cheetah print is so popular right now (there is a sweatshirt below, too!). But this item is an actual sweater, which I love because it can be dressed up and with that, is more versatile! Fits will, but if you want a roomier fit size up.
I love a good waffle knit top, and love the cute details on this one. I personally found it to be a bit short on my tall frame, but it is longer in back so if you unknot it, it will fit fine. If you are petite, it looks super cute knotted!
I shared this photo on my Instagram earlier this week, and no joke, it was my top viewed post, EVER. In all honesty, I wasn’t totally shocked, because I fell in love with this flannel dress immediately. This came right now with me and I am thinking it will have to be another item that I style multiple ways to show how versatile it is!
If you are in the market for a faux leather skirt, look no further! This cutie is flattering, runs true to size, and rings in at only $20! Have I said yet how obsessed with I am with the fashion trends this fall!?
I am a total sucker for a good faux fur vest, and feel like the styles always change a little bit over the years to somehow make me want a new one. Am I crazy!? The one pictured below is SO soft and cozy, I love it over a simple white top but again, you could style it so many ways!
This is the white tee that was styled with the skirt and the fur vest. The fabric is very thin, so make sure to have a nude bra. But the sleeves are a great length and ti is buttery soft! It is a perfect layering piece.
Raise your hand if you’re sick of animal print! Just kidding, please don’t, because I don’t see it going away any time soon 😉 I love a good camisole,a dn this one is a great length and quality. At under $20, you can’t go wrong!
Another trend I never thought I would get behind is camouflage, yet here we are. I grew up in a hunting family, so I always associated camo with..hunting. But I love how much it can add to a simple outfit! The sweatshirt below is so cozy, and comes in other solid colors and styles, too!
This cardigan sold out in, no joke, two days. There was a red version as well, and it is SO similar to this popular item from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale at a fraction of the price. It is still in stock in lots of solid colors, and I will keep my eyes peeled for any restocks of the color block versions.
I never met a buffalo plaid I didn’t like. The design of this one is so cute, and it is a great length! Super soft, and a total must have. This is one of those items that everyone needs in their closet!
I am a sucker for ponchos lately, and have the same one in two different colors shown below. I brought the camel color home with me, but this red is so pretty too. It would be so perfect for the holidays!
I have talked about this poncho multiple times, and highlighted four different ways to style it in this post! It is such a perfect color, and can literally be worn with anything. It comes in a one size fits all!
This white tank top is styled above below the colorblock cardigan, and is another great staple piece. It is lined (so not see-through!) and is a fantastic length. The quality for the price is SO good, and a white cami can be worn SO many ways!
Whew, so many items! But I just love fall fashion and Target is killing it this season. Which look is your favorite!? I am excited to show you some of these pieces styled different ways! As always, thank you for reading, and if there is ever anything you would like to see more of, let me know!
Hello friends, and happy Friday! I wasn’t able to get any posts up this week, I got hit with the WORST cold and was pretty much down and out for three days. The worst part of being sick as a mom, is that no one cares that you’re sick 😉 I kid, I kid, Mike let me nap as best as he could, but my kids really DO NOT care when I am sick. I am finally on the mend, and am so excited to go watch one of my oldest friends get married tomorrow. Before that, keep reading for my weekly roundup and the best sales of the weekend!
I shared this top last week, but this look is just too good to not share again. I absolutely love simple looks, and this top is one I have been eyeing forever. The fabric is so soft and the length is perfect for leggings. It has gone on clearance so I am not sure how much longer you will be able to get this one! But, there are also some updated colors that are on MEGA sale right now here!
I have been slacking on decorating our front porch since we moved three years ago. When you are busy decorating the inside of a house, it is just so easy to forget about the little spaces outside. But, I was at Sam’s Club and saw this mat, and within about five seconds it was in my cart. Check your local stores, but if you don’t have a Sam’s Club near you, I linked a TON of similar options below! My buffalo mat is 40% off at Hobby Lobby, but you can buy nearly identical mats on Amazon.
This may be one of my favorite looks I have posted in ages. What is it about wearing all black that makes you feel so good! I will sing the praises of these leggings until the end of time, right now you can get $10 off with code TAKE10. and this top is newly released and on sale. It comes in four colors and fits like a dream; I love that it has thumb holes! And after much searching for a good pair of black slip ons, I found these and they are SO cozy. If you run big for your size (I am a ‘big’ 11 and the 11 fits me perfectly), get your normal size, otherwise you may want to size down half a size!
Not sure how this dress is still in stock in multiple sizes, but you guys, run and snag it because it is 60% off! I have shared the Amazon dupe many times (which I LOVE) but right now this original is actually LESS than the dupe. I paired it with the tencel shirt I shared above and my new snakeskin booties. If you are on the fence about getting snakeskin or cheetah print booties, do yourself a favor and just DO IT. I was worried I wouldn’t have much to wear them with, but they are surprisingly neutral and go with just about everything!
I have talked about these wrap and cuff bracelets SO many times, and I wear them almost every day. They are BOGO FREE this weekend, so if you have been eyeing them, now is the time to buy! They are so stylish and can compliment just about any outfit, and the quality is excellent.
As always, thanks for reading! Check below for a weekly roundup of the best sales, and be sure to check back next week for some fall fashion from your favorite retailers!

American Eagle: 25% off jeans and jeggings, take 25% off with purchase of tailgate item
Happy fall, y’all! I promise, that line is the only time you will hear the word ‘y’all’ come out of my midwestern mouth. But seriously, the fall weather has been unreal this year. We are pretty much consistently seeing temps in the 60s, and lots of rain this week (womp womp). While I am a little sad to see the summer temps leave so quickly, I will not lie about how excited I am to already be wearing all of the fall things! I shared a try on in my stories on Instagram earlier this week, but decided to share all of the looks here, too! Keep reading for my fall finds at Old Navy!
First things first; yes, the leaves on those trees behind me are already changing colors! It is such an early fall this year! I think my favorite look from this try on is the one below-this sherpa vest is SO good! When I originally ordered it, they only had regular sizing, but have since extended it to also included petite and tall options! I think I am going to exchange it for a large tall-the regular fit and worked, but I am never one to say no to a little extra length.
My jeans are not from Old Navy, but they are new and I have gotten so many questions on them! They run a full size large-so order a full size down from what you normally would get in this brand. I am wearing a size 8 extra long. The fit is so flattering, and I saw multiple sizes have already started selling out. These won’t be in stock long!
My booties will be linked throughout the post, but I have been wearing them pretty much daily since I got them! They run true to size, and I got them with one of the coupons that DSW runs on a regular basis for less than $40! I love that they have a tiny heel, but nothing major. Tall girls, these are the perfect snakeskin bootie!
The sweater layered beneath my vest can be seen below! It sold out in all of the tall sizes thanks to a $10 flash sale on Sunday, but it is fully stocked in regular and some petite sizes. This one is GOOD-such a popular boutique style that I was so happy to see Old Navy create. I will be sure to share when tall sizes restock (I own two colors, and already want more!) I have also found that once Old Navy does a flash sale, it is safe to assume they will do it again, but they only do it for limited quantities. If you are waiting for a sale, it is a good idea to move quickly-I think all of the tall sizes were sold out by noon last weekend!
The jeans pictured are actually from last season and are left in SUPER limited sizes, but I found a nearly identical pair from the same retailer here! Busted knee denim might just be my favorite, and American Eagle makes some of the best options I have been able to find, especially if you are tall like me!
This sweatshirt is another item that was only available in regular, and after a few weeks was brought in both tall and petite sizes! I snagged one so quickly! It is a marled gray, and the inside almost feels like a lightweight terry material. That makes it a GREAT sweatshirt for transitioning. It is still plenty cozy, but won’t have you melting if it warms up throughout the day. Order your true size in this one, or up one if you want a roomy fit.
Alright, this may be the hidden gem of my fall finds at Old Navy! I have been eyeing this shirt online for awhile, and thanks to some credit card rewards and a mega sale, I got it for $6.50! And it fits SO well. I sized up to a large tall. A medium would have worked, but sometimes I feel like button up shirts are better bigger. They are more versatile and provide more options when you have a little bit more fabric to play with! The fit is roomy but tapered, and I love that it is long enough that it can be worn with leggings. While it does wrinkle, it is MUCH easier to steam and get smooth compared to other chambray style tops I have worn. This is another item worth snagging in multiple colors!
See what I mean for how versatile this top is!? It is cute on its own or layered. This quilted vest comes in tons of colors, and is available in regular, tall, and petite. For being a vest, it is actually quite thin, which makes it another great transitional piece. You can size down, but if you plan to layer with sweaters or thicker clothing, I would go with your normal size. I am wearing a medium tall, and it works with this shirt, but would be tight over a sweater!
What are your latest fall finds at Old Navy? I shop a number of different retailers, but I think that Old Navy definitely dominates my closet. I just love how they cater to ALL sizes. Tall, petite, plus sized, or pregnant, they have it all 🙂 If there are any items you have had your eye on or would like to see styled on a tall body type, let me know! I am always happy to test things out for you guys 🙂
As always, thank you for reading! And in case you missed it earlier this week, in honor of my 30th birthday I shared 30 random facts about myself! Some of them might be obvious, and some might surprise you. Head here to check it out!

Alright you guys, after searching high and low for the past year, I think I have my recommendations on black faux leather moto jackets narrowed down. Before you think I am a crazy person, No I do not actually own all of these. However, as a ‘tall’ fashion blogger, one of my goals is to provide realistic reviews of products. The hope is that by sharing these with you, it takes the guess work out so you don’t have to order and try a ton of styles to see what fits! Below are some total hits, not so impressive options, and various price points. All details on sizing, fit, and quality are included below. Happy shopping!
Draped Moto Jacket
Alright, this is the first image, but I am going to be brutally honest and say that I was less than impressed with this jacket from the NSale. I wanted to love it, because the style overall is very cute. Which explains why I took photos in it 😉 I intended to keep it, but the longer I wore it, the less I loved it. The fabric is SO thin on this one. I have a hard time considering it a jacket, because the faux leather is about as thick as a t-shirt. The hems of the sleeves are also pretty raw, and I don’t think it would take much to damage this one. The price was decent during the NSale, but I wouldn’t recommend paying full price for this one, unless you intend to wear it as more of a blazer option.
This was my other purchase from the NSale, and I really did like the quality of it. It is advertised as ‘collarless’, but it does still fold over, there is just nothing along the neckline that does. The fit was good and I loved that the underarms had a sweater material to allow more breathability and flexing. For being the same price range and brand as the jacket above, the quality of this one far surpassed! I would have kept this one, until I realized that the options below (keep reading) came in specific tall options!
This isn’t the jacket I ultimately ended up with, but I would 100% suggest this faux leather moto jacket to anyone looking for a faux leather moto jacket. While it is $60 full priced, you can snag it for 40% off all of the time, making it right around $35. It comes in regular, petite, and tall sizing, and is the least cropped option of all of the jackets I am sharing. I really have no complaints about this jacket, especially for the price. And I love that there is an option for ALL sizes!
Alright, to the winner! I fell in love with this jacket the second I put it on. It is from ASOS Tall collection, but the same style comes in regular as well. In comparing it to the one from Old Navy, they truly are VERY similar. This one is also right around 60% full price, and with coupons/sales can be snagged for right around $50.Right now code LABORDAY20 will get you 20% off! It is slightly more cropped, but fits like a glove and is incredibly flattering. I was able to identify a little bit of a difference in the quality of the faux leather between the two, and ultimately this one just looks and feels a bit more high end. Had I not found this one, I would have stuck with the Old Navy one! I would say between the two, it boils down to price. I thought this one was worth an extra $15, but if you are on a budget, either option is great!
I realize that there are MUCH more than four faux leather moto jackets out there, but these four are popular styles from popular retailers that I was eager to try. I found a lot of other options that are also affordable (like this one from Target!) and am linking them all below so you can shop all of the options! If you have any questions or need further recommendations, please let me know and I am happy to answer!
