There may still be snow on the ground here in Minnesota, but I am looking for all of the spring fashion lately. I think that spring might actually be my favorite season. It always feels like an accomplishment to survive winter, and there is just NOTHING like the feel of a sunny, 50 degree day after a long winter! I decided to round up some pretty spring dress options today. These would all be perfect for spring break, Easter, or any weddings you might have coming up! They can all be found at Red Dress Boutique! Keep reading to see four dress styles to try this spring!
Four Dress Styles to Try This Spring
I ended up loving this off the shoulder dress way more than I thought I would. The color is absolutely gorgeous, and is so flattering. I love that the waist is elastic-it makes it very comfortable and something I could wear all night long. You can also snag it in pink or lavender!
I absolutely love this dress! Tall girls be warned-it is pretty short. I believe the website measures it as being 33 inches long, and if you are in petite it will fit you just right. If you are tall, I would recommend wearing a pair of spandex shorts underneath 🙂 The fabric is a blue and purple tie dye, with a gorgeous shimmer built into the fabric.
I also wanted to be sure to let you know that I just found these sandals marked down to under $50! I got them last spring and they are one of my most worn pair of dress sandals. They have a modest block heel, and the fabric is a gorgeous suede. They originally price is $100, so I had to be sure to let you all know what a deal they are right now!
I think that this dress is my favorite of them all. Full disclosure-when I first tried it on the belt fell out of the bag and I felt like I was wearing a potato sack. Ladies, the belt MAKES this dress! Definitely wear the belt. Once I figured that simple thing out, the dress totally transformed. Oh my goodness, it is so cute on! The shoulder straps are a fixed length, but they naturally are short so it has a modest neckline. The skirt has a lot of fabric too, making this as perfect dress for twirling!
I threw on my favorite jean jacket and added my checkered tote to give you an option for a perfect weekend outfit. I would wear this look out to dinner for date night, or to brunch! My jean jacket comes in tall sizes, but it has been a hot seller so sizes may be limited. My tote is designer inspired and under $50!
I kept on wondering what felt so familiar about this dress, and then I finally put it together. I wore a similar maxi dress in the exact same colors on my honeymoon! that one had a few more cutouts and was not as friendly on the mom pooch 😉 But, I always loved it and was so excited to find an option like this. It is a great length, at 6′ tall the top just barely brushes the floor. If you are petite, this dress will likely be VERY long on you. Also, it has pockets. The top layer is sheer, with a white liner that ends just above the knee beneath. You can adjust the length of the shoulder straps, too, which allowed me to add a bit of length.
Is it just me, or do all dresses look cute under a jean jacket!? If you don’t have a good jean jacket in your closet, you need one!
These dresses have me so excited for warmer weather! Anything above 50 is free game for sandals and bare arms in Minnesota (we are a little crazy) and I am patiently waiting! Leave a comment below and let me know which dress is your favorite!
