Falalalalala, I cannot believe it is the week before Christmas! This season just flies by, and I am doing everything I can to soak up slow moments at home in between all of the chaos. One of my favorite things to do is to brew a cup of coffee in the morning before all of the madness sets in. I have shared my coffee routine already, but I thought I would do a little update on how I brew fun and festive holiday coffee at home during Christmas season!

Fun and Festive Holiday Coffee At Home
Invest In Festive Drinkware
One of the first things I do the morning after Thanksgiving is bust out all of my Holiday mugs. No normal mugs are allowed in this house during the month of December! I have an actual plaid set that matches our holiday dinnerware. But, I love to pick up a new mug every year. This year I snagged this one, and love it! I also have a few Santa mugs that are so adorable. We usually reserve those for the boys and their hot cocoa 😉
Below are a few similar plaid style mugs!
Have a Variety of Flavors and Blends
During the holidays, I love to have a variety of coffee blends and flavors on hand. I love to keep classic staples like Cameron’s Woods & Water to create a smooth base when I am adding in lots of extras. While I love fun drinks, I also like to keep it more simple (and lower calorie) most days, and that is when I love to brew up flavors like Sea Salt Caramel and Cinnamon Sugar Cookie (my favorite!) The flavors are amazing and just the right amount of sweetness. Plus, they’re completely calorie and sugar free when you drink them black, so you can save the indulgence for a real cinnamon sugar cookie if that is your jam. 🙂
I also love to add festive garnishes to my bar cart to add some flair to my drinks when I’m feeling like creating a more indulgent coffee treat. White chocolate chips, candy canes, and mini marshmallows are my favorites! I also keep a festive holiday creamer like this one in the refrigerator, as well as whipped cream!
A few other requirements in my house when drinking coffee during the holidays.
- The tree lights absolutely must be turned on!
- Fuzzy slippers are a must.
- Plaid, flannel, and the color of the red are totally acceptable to wear every day.
- The coffee needs to be strong to get me going for all of the business of the season!
Do you have any fun little things that you do to make brewing your coffee at home more fun? I am also so amazed by how something simple like a pretty bar cart, a new flavor of Cameron’s, or a new creamer can make me so excited for my morning cup of joe!
