Weekly Roundup

And just like that, October has come and gone and it is November. I would be lying if I said I am not a little bit sad (and terrified) that fall is ending and winter is beginning. But I am in the spirit this year, and may or may not already be thinking all of the holiday things. We are truly entering the most magical time of the year, and I am SO excited. Having toddler children at Christmas (and every holiday) is just too good to be true. There really is nothing like experiencing all of the magic of childhood through their eyes! Before I get too far ahead of myself 😉 I have my weekly roundup below! As always, thank you for reading, I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween!

Jackson went as Black Panther, Lincoln was Iron Spider, and Mike was ‘fat Thor’. I was so surprised that people knew exactly who he was! I was lazy and called myself a lumberjack 😉 I had a costume, but it was too cold and I was more focused on being warm to let the kiddos go as long as possible trick or treating!

Express Try On

Earlier this week I saw that Express had everything 40% off, so I stopped in for a quick try on. They have so many good pieces right now. Of course, all of the sparkly holiday outfits are what caught my eye. How magical is the sequin blazer below!? They also have a pair of sequin leggings that I keep debating going back to get. Tell me, would you ever wear sequin leggings!?

Faux Leather Everything

Did you catch my post earlier this week featuring 15 ways to style Spanx faux leather leggings!? I regretted not buying them on sale for an entire year, and since getting them I wear them constantly. They are an investment piece, but they are SO good and in my opinion, are worth every penny. If you want some inspo for how versatile they can be, head here!

My Little Helper

I just love the age of 3, you guys. Lincoln is so darn sweet, and everything out of his mouth is one for the baby book (which I don’t keep, oops!) Earlier this week, I was in the bathroom getting ready for work, and he came in and told me I needed to get dressed. I told him he could pick my shirt (which he has never done before). Without missing a beat, he said ‘I want the one with ALL of the colors’. I knew exactly which one he was talking about 😉 He was so proud when I put it on, and couldn’t wait to tell his dad that he picked my shirt. Can I just keep him like this forever?

Have a great weekend friends! Enjoy November, I am going to start prepping for Thanksgiving (we are hosting this year!) and may or may not sneak in a piece of holiday decor or two and see if Mike notices 😉 I have a few fun posts coming next week to start getting you ready for the holiday season, so be sure to check back!
