Weekly Roundup

Happy Friday friends, and so long summer! I am in disbelief that it is Labor Day weekend, yet I also feel like it has been summer forever. Ask me again when we are in an endless winter if I feel like summer was really that long 😉 I am excited for this weekend because not only is it a long one, but my sister in law is getting married! I am so excited to hang out with family and get dressed up. And I may or may not be looking forward to an ice cold beer. Before I sign off for the weekend, I am sharing a weekly roundup below!

Fall Vibes

I have been soaking up these cooler mornings, and am so excited to start transitioning my wardrobe. Summer fashion is so fun, but especially when you work outside of the home, it gets limiting. I can only wear the same camisoles and blouses so much before they get boring. Vests and sweaters have been added to the rotation, and I am loving it!

All About That Ombre

I have had this top for a few weeks, and I kid you not, I wear it as soon as it is washed. It fits oversized, and is SO darn comfy. Size large is already sold out, but you can totally get away with sizing down in this one. The material is a soft waffle knit, and has the cutest ombre styling.

Open House

We had Jackson’s kindergarten open house this week, and it went so well! Mike and I are a ball of nerves gearing up for the big change next week, but Jackson just seems excited! His teacher is so sweet, and it settles my nerves quite a bit knowing his uncle Jeff is a teacher in the same school! After seeing his classroom, we got to go to the cafeteria and get a cookie and milk. He has a passcode to punch when he gets lunch every day that he has been practicing with Mike all week. He was so proud to type it in, and already has it memorized. Lincoln was just excited for the cookie. Now we just need to master how to open a milk carton!

Recent Amazon Finds

I shared a roundup of recent Amazon Finds over on my Instagram this week! Recently I started uploading more information to my Amazon Store, so if you ever have seen something I have shared from Amazon, it is all located in one place! You can find wish lists and categories broken down my item type, and will be updating it regularly! Go take a look and let me know what you think or if there is anything you would like to see more of! In regards to my haul, it was pretty much all fall sweaters! Our weather has cooled off so much, I couldn’t resist! See all of my picks below!

This white sweater is SO comfy and naturally falls off of the shoulder. It is adorable and lightweight, perfect for the transitional weather!

This isn’t my first rodeo with this dress. Fits like a glove, and flattering on everyone. Truly, a closet must have!

Dress // Cuff // Shoes

I call this sweater the pumpkin spice latte! Seriously, it is the most perfect fall sweater. It fits oversized, and is super cozy.

I have also shared this cardigan before, but it was worth a reshare. It comes in another version where the yellow is replaced with tan, and is so cute!

Another great basic piece is this striped cardigan. It goes with EVERYTHING and fits so well. The fabric is thick and the sleeves are a great length.

I am so glad I finally took the plunge on a cute felt hat. This tan color goes well with just about everything and just feels like fall!

Another great basic piece is this twist front top. It is great layered or on its own, and is the perfect length for wearing with leggings.

The Best Faux Leather Moto Jackets

Did you catch my post earlier this week? I rounded up the best faux leather moto jackets, at a variety of price points. I even found some options that come in petite and tall. There is something for everyone and they are all so cute! Head here to see the full post!

New Finds with Red Dress Boutique

I shared another roundup of items earlier this week from Red Dress Boutique. This has been one of my favorite retailers for YEARS, well before my blogging days, and it was so much fun to team up with them to share some of their new fall items.

I am absolutely obsessed with this dress! The color is so unique, and pairs perfectly with a pop of pink! It runs a big short, so tall girls be warned. You can also snag it in a ton of other colors!

Dress // Bag // Sandals

This thermal top may be my favorite item ever. It is beyond soft, fits like a dream, and is so incredibly versatile. I have already worn it multiple times this week!

Thermal Top // Black Distressed Jeans

I absolutely ADORE this striped sweater. Something about it kind of reminds me of the sweaters our parents wore back in the 80s/early 90s! The photos online do not show how soft the fabric is, but trust me when I say it could not be any comfier. I paired it with these black jeans, and immediately felt like fall!
